I am determined to love my 50mm as much as everyone else seems to. Today I went out just knowing that my daffodils would be in bloom because everyone else's are.
Almost. Both with the lens and the daffodils. The autofocus just isn't what I dream of, but the depth of field is cool. I'm going to keep making myself use it.

i like these...the shallow plane of focus is proving challenging to me, though, as is focusing on a spot and recomposing. ah well, something to keep me occupied, i guess.

Molly, I have the solution to focusing and recomposing. I had the problem in Chicago and Brian helped me with it. I'll shoot you an email.
