Fast Fingers

I was taking a picture of the big group at the reunion and heard something like a very large bumble bee.  I looked around and saw two hummingbirds dive-bombing each other trying to protect the feeder.  Had camera in hand (only the 24-70, wished I had the 70-200).

Most were blurry - no suprise given how fast they move - but I did get one where one was still.  Wish it were more crisp, but I was happy to just to get it.

Thanks for your comment on Scott's shot. I give you credit because I don't even shoot birds. I am a people kind of photographer. I don't shoot much else.

I have thought about a humming bird feeder. The only thing that holds me back is that the feeders are UGLY for humming birds. Don't you think? The birds are cool and capturing them in flight is cool, but I think the feeders are pretty unattractive. Is it just me? It's probably just me. Now this feeder doesn't have red stuff in it. Up here the fluid in the feeder is red. Hmmm...
